Radioactive Maggot

Radioactive Maggots are rare versions of Maggots that give more Rads.

Behavior

Radioactive Maggots behave identically to Maggots, though they move faster. They are also killed on contact for unclear reasons.

Nearly all weapons will do against Radioactive Maggots, though a large amount of Bolt and Energy ones are inefficient. Like with most weak enemies, don't waste your ammo on them.

Specific Tactics

• Radioactive Maggots will move away from Crystal while she is shielding.
• Melting will have a field day with the amount of Rads and corpses generated from groups of Radioactive Maggots.
• Plant's Snare can almost completely immobilize the entire group of RadioactiveMaggots.
• Gamma Guts entirely protects against Radioactive Maggots and allows killing them for free without spending any health.

Areas

Radioactive Maggots only come from the rarely spawning Overgrown Rad Canister in Desert. When broken, many Radioactive Maggots will emerge.
