Strategy

The Baa is the easiest Demon to fight, being more of a "tutorial Demon" than anything else. When fighting them, it's best to treat them similarly to a Minion or Twin Minion. Remember that, if the Baa is in-play, not every Outcast in your Deck will really be in the village. This is only particularly threatening if Evil is Disguising as an Outcast, or if the Drunk or Doppelganger are in-play. Be careful not to confuse their ability with that of the Counsellor, however.

Remember that, like every other role in the game, under normal circumstances, only 1 of each Outcast may be in-play at any given time. If there's two characters claiming to be the same Outcast, one is Lying. In gameplay, you can use the numbers in the upper right corner to check how many of each role type are in the Village - the second is how many Outcasts you have.

Trivia

• Baa has gone through three unique names so far. In early unreleased versions of the game (such as the one featured in the Announcement Trailer), the Baa was simply called "Demon". In the earlier public builds, it was called the Imp, named after the Blood on the Clocktower character of the same name.
• Baa didn't originally have a unique ability. It was functionally identical to the Minion and Twin Minion, but as a Demon rather than a Minion.
