The damage multiplier lets Strike (Samurai) scale better than every other strike except for Strike (Pyromancer), though Strike (Samurai)'s condition is generally less versatile than Strike (Pyromancer)'s.
Strike (Samurai) has the same base damage as Strike, making Strike (Samurai) a strictly better card.
While better than other Strikes, Strike (Samurai) is mediocre as a source of damage.
Because the damage multiplier is rather low, it is likely that the resulting damage increase will be slightly lower than expected, especially when combined with other damage multipliers, such as Demon Slayer or Warcry. This is because the damage number is rounded down to the nearest whole number after each multiplication.
