Game Start: Random adjacent Villager becomes a Puppet (Its Evil, but cannot Lie). I Lie and Disguise.
Ability
- The Puppet counts as an Evil that you must kill.
- If the Puppeteer is not adjacent to any Villagers, he will not make a Puppet.
- The Puppeteer will cure any corruption from the Villager he turned into a Puppet. The Puppet will never be corrupted.
Tips
- If there is a Puppet in play, the Puppeteer will always be adjacent to it. If you find a Puppeteer or Puppet, you know that the other must be adjacent to them.
- The deck count does not take into account the Puppeteer’s ability. For example in the picture below, if a Puppeteer was in play and he successfully made a puppet, the Villager count would be three and the Minion count would be two.
Interactions
- Truthful characters will see the Puppeteer as evil and through their disguise.
- Lying characters will see the Puppeteer as good and as the character they are disguising as.
- The Witness will see the character the Puppeteer turned into a Puppet as being affected by an evil.
- It is possible for the Puppeteer to turn a Villager that was corrupted by the Pooka or the Poisoner into a Puppet. In this case the Puppeteer’s ability would cure the Puppet and the Puppet’s ability will act as normal.
- Puppeteer acts before Shaman, therefore it is not possible for the Puppeteer to turn a Villager the Shaman cloned into a Puppet.
Trivia
“He makes one villager Evil.
And all the others paranoid.”
