Strategy

The Empress is among the more powerful information roles in the game. Whether she's Lying or telling the Truth, you know that at least 2 of the characters in her info are Good, and that the third is either Good or Evil depending on whether she's Lying or telling the Truth. Her ability to confirm the alignments of 3 characters is a very powerful ability, and even if she's Lying, her info is useful anyway. She can be used in a similar way to the Bishop.

Trivia

• The Empress's ability is taken from the Noble, a character featured in a social deduction game (Blood on the Clocktower) that Demon Bluff was inspired by. Its ability reads "You start knowing 3 players, 1 and only 1 of which is evil."
