Vigilant is a core component of most block builds due to its high block, draw power, and common rarity.
Has decent synergy with Breathing Technique+, allowing you to draw the card you just returned to the deck.
Has several ways of working in an infinite combo.
Using Fortune Bracer to reduce its cost to 0 and having a small enough deck allows for infinite Block by using vigilant to draw itself.
Using No Pain No Gain and a small deck can also work, at the cost of most of your hp.
