The discard happens after all other effects, so when leverage is used with a Heavy weapon and no other cards in hand, the Fatigue generated is automatically discarded.

Alina does not move back if no enemy is attacked, if her path is obstructed, or if the target has Precognition.

Alina moves in the opposite direction of the targeted tile, so when played with a longsword you can choose the direction you move by selecting a tile next to the target rather than the tile your target is on.
