Guard (Samurai) is strictly better than Guard.
Can be used as an energy sink in the Slave Arena.
Not very useful outside the early parts of the game, as its focus gain does nothing to make it better than other Block cards for a block build, and its focus gain is very slow compared to every other source of focus in the game.
Not available as card rewards or in shops, can only be obtained as part of the starting deck or by duplicating them during certain events.
