The block from Dempsey Roll is rather low, but it is enough to prevent taking damage from attacking Spiky enemies and can add up to a lot of saved hp over multiple fights.

Dempsey Roll synergizes with several other powers, specifically Dark Soles and Run and Gun.

On its own Dempsey Roll has rather low impact, which is made up for by its low cost.
