Cannot be added to the deck in any way except by the effect of Dark Soles. Cannot be upgraded. Unused Dark Rolls are removed from the deck at the end of the battle.

Instead of using a Dark Roll as fodder for Empty Mind, it is usually better to play the Dark Roll to get into a better position, then target the Fatigue with Empty Mind instead.
